So about 10 / 15 of each product is offered for sale.
Amocnis has a dropshipping business model which means, Amocnis does not keep the products it offers to you in stock.
In most cases Amocnis works with a print - on - demand drop shipper.
The product is created once you make your order.
How Amocnis came into being
The Journey
Our journey began with a change of name from Things In Common (TIC) to the current name AMOCNIS and a new directive.
Why the name change?
You may ask.
Well...it turns out that the creator wasn't the only one with that "brilliant idea" of calling their website Things In Common, there were others who also thought TIC (Things In Common) was a Kool name to have.
As you may have already guessed, the name AMOCNIS is a coined word.
The word AMOCNIS consist of letters taken from its predecessor's name which was THINGS IN COMMON (TIC).
At the time of it's inception, the letters considered to be used were M - O - C - N - I and S pronouncing the word mock - nis.
The name Mocnis didn't sound that great to the person naming it, so the creator placed the first letter of the English alphabet - the letter A - at the beginning of those letters and there you have it AMOCNIS ( ah - mock - nis ) was born.
The name "Things In Common" was chosen first because of the meaning of both the phrase as well as its acronym (TIC).
The aim remains the same as it was when its name was THINGS IN COMMON which is to uplift the mind, body and spirit in all endeavors.
And so AMOCNIS still operates under the same premise, which is as follows:
"...that we all have things in common, no matter who we are, what we do or how we may look, taking away all the fanfare we are all more alike than we are different...Yet even though we are all so similar, we are all so unique and “peculiar”.
We all have our own particular - TIC ! "
As a result, you'll find that the galleries and almost everything onsite including some of the clothes and gift items offered to you is really a remnant and testament of its predecessor's name and creed.
Hence, to make it special and keep it as such, each product offered to you by Amocnis is designed as a 'limited edition'.
